Hi, my name is Leah and welcome to my blog!

I'm glad you are joining me as I embark on a brand new chapter in my life; College. During this past summer I was wondering what I could have as a creative outlet while I begin my first year at college 1,493 miles away from my hometown, Miami. I decided that I would create a blog that would show my perspective on the years to come. 

   Now being from Miami, there is going to be a lot of changes once I move this fall. One major difference is the weather! Coming from a sunny and humid city, like Miami, I am not prepared at all for the harsh winter days that are to come in Boston, Massachusetts. I am attending Boston Conservatory to receive my Bachelor of Music; Vocal Performance.

    Now you probably are wondering "Then if she's going to a singing school, what does her blog have to do with a camera?" Well, growing up my dad introduced me to photography. He has been a photographer for a long time. Whenever we went to the beach, he would bring his underwater housing, go in the water, and shoot pictures of surfers. He's shot other things like weddings, clothing shoots, athletic gear, etc. but he is mostly known for his surfing photographs (Instagram:@vodagraph). But whenever he had the chance to get my brother & I out of the house, we would have a photo contest where my dad would give us each a camera and we will go shooting pictures around the neighborhood and whoever had the best shot of the day, we would win a prize. From then on I showed much interest in the world of photography. This blog is to show you what my perspective of life is through my camera lens.
